By accessing or using Risha’s website, platform, or related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not access or use the Service.

1. Eligibility & Parental Consent

Age and Consent: Risha is designed for students and other users. If you are under the age of 13, you must have explicit permission from your parent or legal guardian to use the Service.

Account Responsibility: You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account, and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

Why the Age Requirement? We mention age requirements to align with common international standards for online child protection, ensuring that younger users have a parent or guardian’s guidance and oversight when using the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Risha provides a flexible block-based page editor where you can create content using various blocks (images, videos, dividers, task lists, numbered lists, bullet lists, toggle lists, file attachments, headings, quotes, charts, equations, code blocks, and more). Key features include:

Page Creation & Editing: Customize fonts, colors, layouts, and use right-to-left (RTL) text support.

Publish & Present: Publish pages on risha.site (e.g., username.risha.site/custom-path) or your own domain, and present them directly within Risha.

Import & Export: Bring content into Risha from other sources and export your work for offline use.

Control Over Duplication: Allow or deny others from duplicating your published pages.

Risha AI: Use AI-assisted features to help write, read, or search within your pages. This AI may suggest content that is not always accurate, so please verify its output.

Currently, Risha is offered as a free personal-tier service with no paid plans, business tiers, or pro upgrades. We may introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future.

3. User Content

Ownership: You retain all rights to the text, images, and other materials you create or upload (“User Content”). We do not claim ownership of your User Content.

License to Risha: By using Risha, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, host, reproduce, and display your User Content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

User Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content complies with all applicable laws and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

Public Content: When you publish a page, it may be publicly accessible. You are responsible for choosing whether to allow duplication. Any content you make public can be viewed, and potentially reused, by others if you grant that permission.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations of Saudi Arabia or other jurisdictions.

Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to Risha.

Access the Service by any automated means (e.g., bots, scrapers) without our permission.

Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code.

Engage in harassment, hate speech, or any illegal activity using the Service.

5. Intellectual Property

Risha’s IP: The Service and its underlying technology, design, and trademarks are owned by us or our licensors. You may not use our trademarks or branding without prior written permission.

Feedback: Any feedback you provide may be used by us freely, without any obligation to you.

6. Risha AI Disclaimer

Risha AI provides automated suggestions and assistance. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI-generated content. You are responsible for verifying and determining the suitability of any AI suggestions.

7. Privacy

Your use of Risha is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information. By using Risha, you consent to the data practices described in that policy.

8. Future Paid Features

We may introduce paid plans, additional features, or subscriptions at a later date. We will provide advance notice and give you the option to continue using free features or upgrade if you choose.

9. Termination

By You: You may stop using Risha at any time and request account deletion.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, pose a security risk, or for other lawful reasons.

Data Deletion: Upon termination, we may delete your User Content after a grace period. Please back up your data beforehand.

10. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

As-Is Service: Risha is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

No Warranty: We expressly disclaim any warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Liability Limitation: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your use of Risha. Our total liability will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Risha, its employees, officers, and agents from any claims arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes. Continued use of the Service after the changes take effect indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Justice and its courts.
